Studios at Bermondsey Project are available for Artists in Residence.
Bermondsey Project is an exciting new creative hub inLondon’s fastest growing arts district. Comprising over 120 artists studios ( managed by Bow Arts) , a gallery and project space, Sculpture workshop and social enterprises, it is also home to Crisis Skylight Bermondsey, a project that aims to provide homeless and ex homeless artists with opportunities to access arts based courses and training as well as having access to their own studio spaces.
We are now looking for artists to join us in this venture. We have 6 fantastic studios available of around 350sq ft each – available at just 30% of normal market rent in return for active engagement in our move on programme here for homeless artists

Active engagement in Crisis Skylight Bermondsey, through working as a tutor and or/mentor for at least 10 hours per week.
Crisis is the national charity for single homeless people. We are dedicated to ending homelessness by delivering life-changing services and campaigning for change.
Our innovative education, employment, housing and well-being services address individual needs and help homeless people to transform their lives.
About the Bermondsey Project
The Bermondsey Project is a creative hub led by Crisis, the national charity for single homeless people, working with Bow Arts, the London Community Resource Network and other organisations. Based at 46 Willow Walk, SE1, the Bermondsey Project will cater for artists and creative enterprises, as well as homeless and vulnerably housed people interested in engaging with the creative arts. Crisis Skylight Bermondsey will operate within the Bermondsey Project to offer homeless and vulnerably housed people opportunities for more intensive involvement with the arts and other creative and vocational programmes, helping them towards employability and self reliance. The centre will comprise workshops, classes, vocational training and supported studio facilities.
Crisis has a vision to end homelessness in Londonby ensuring all homeless people have access to the education, employment, personalised support and housing opportunities that they need to transform their lives and leave homelessness behind for good. CS Bermondsey will support this vision by providing a ‘next step’ for homeless and vulnerably housed people who are ready to enrol in a more intensive curriculum involving the arts and other creative and vocational programmes, helping them towards employability and self reliance.
